SUNNYVALE Calif. – December 9, 2009 – Scintera Networks, Inc., a leading provider of programmable analog signal processors, today announced the appointment of Anthony J. Ley to its Board of Directors, bringing the number of directors on the Board to seven.

“The appointment of Anthony Ley brings valuable industry expertise to an already strong Board,” said Art Reidel, chief executive officer of Scintera, Inc. “In addition to his invaluable business and technical experience, his judgment, vision and enthusiasm will serve Scintera well.”

Mr. Ley served as president and chief executive officer at Harmonic for 18 years and as chairman until 2008. Prior to that he was at Schlumberger Limited, both in Europe and the U.S., holding senior business management and research and development positions, most recently as vice president, Research and Engineering, at Fairchild/Schlumberger Semiconductor. Mr. Ley holds an M.A. in Mechanical Sciences from the University of Cambridge and an S.M.E.E. from MIT, is named as an inventor on 29 patents, is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (UK), and a senior member of the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers, Inc.

SUNNYVALE Calif. – December 2, 2009 – Scintera Networks, Inc., a leading provider of programmable analog signal processors, today announced the appointment of Rajeev Krishnamoorthy as chief technology officer reporting to Scintera chief executive officer Arthur Reidel.

“Rajeev is a talented entrepreneur and technologist whose focus has been on innovating and commercializing new products in emerging and rapidly growing markets,” said Art Reidel. “As Scintera brings our Gigahertz Signal ProcessorTM technology to market, I am delighted to welcome an executive with such a deep understanding of our technology and the markets we serve. Dr. Krishnamoorthy most recently was founder and chief executive officer of TZero Technologies, a fabless semiconductor company providing high performance, ultra-wideband chipsets and digital video solutions. Before TZero, he was vice president of technology at Iospan Wireless responsible for developing the first commercial MIMO fixed-wireless systems. He began his career at Bell Laboratories conducting research in communications and data networking, and in the wireless LAN division of AT&T/Lucent in the Netherlands. He played a key role in the development of the earliest 802.11 and 11(b) (WiFi) products, which enabled the first widely deployed wireless LAN networks.
